Black March.

I'm going to do my best to get behind this.

I feel like I have too much music anyway, so not downloading tunes shouldn't be a problem.

I must admit, I have been buying movies. Only because my video store is going out of business, and we have a lot of really hard to find stuff for real cheap.

Coincidentally, right before I found out the store was going out, I was preparing a small rant about Netflix and the ridiculous profits they pull in.

Maybe when I'm finally out of a job (in a few weeks here.) I'll get around to that.

Anyway, what I was getting at with this: I'm still going to post some good bands/movies, but I'm not going to give links for free album downloads. I'll leave it up to you to seek these things out, if you feel like it.

Soooo, Truckfighters on Saturday in Dayton was Great. All of the bands delivered. Sound quality was great. (I've had a few shows ruined by shitty sound guys/gals.)

Grand Mammoth, Neon Warship (whom I had seen once before), and The Midnight Ghost Train.

Only complaint: The crowd fuckin' SUCKED.

This isn't sucking on the usual level of being nit-picky and calling out false representers...
Like I said, these bands KILLED it fucking dead, but except for Truckfighters, hardly anyone even clapped after a performance.

Even if I don't like a band, I'll still applaud for putting themselves up there and giving it a go.

Common Fuckin' Courtesy.

Not to mention every half-assed attempt at a conversation I happened to overhear was a completely self involved exihibit of jack-offery.

Bottom line is:

Dayton crowd: BULLSHIT. (From my experience.)

Midnight Ghost Train from Kansas: Rad. (They make hot suace, it's dee-lish.)

Neon Warship: Dayton, good and getting better.

You: Quit It.

  1. I haven't been to Dayton in a coon's age but it didn't used to be like that. The Failure always got a decent response, how exactly I could not explain. Word on the street is that Dayton has turned kind of hip (a fate worse than death).
